About Mahakal Swatantra Sthanak — Mahakal Swatantra Sthanak

Our History

Founded by local devotees in the late 20th century, the temple began as a small shrine and slowly evolved into a community centre for bhakti and service.

Through community seva and the generosity of donors, the temple complex was expanded to host regular pujas, festivals, and a community kitchen (annadan).

Core Values

  • Seva (Service): Selfless community service and annadan (community kitchen).
  • Bhakti (Devotion): Regular pujas, aartis & kirtans to connect hearts to Mahadev.
  • Shanti (Peace): Promoting inner peace through satsang and meditation.
1980s: Humble beginnings — small shrine & local devotees.
1990s: Regular pujas and growth of devotee community.
2000s — Present: Temple complex developed; festivals, annadan, and seva initiatives expanded.
